Tim Tronckoe is a photographer and visual director from Ghent, Belgium.
With a huge passion for art, fashion, music and beauty, Tim has been able to implement all that into his imagery, creating a fresh look every time. No picture is ever the same. Every assignment, whether it be personal or commissioned, is a different challenge to him. Trying to lift the image of the person in front of the camera to a new level, is what makes Tim's work stand out.
2013 Was a big turning point in Tim's career. In this year, he was asked to shoot the new promotional pictures of the last SLAYER line-up. Tim was selected from a vast group of European photographers to do the job. On the day of the shoot, he had ten minutes to get the job done. The images are still used to this day.
Establishing his portfolio in different directions, Tim has created imagery for Ghost, KoRn, Within Temptation, Epica, Evanescence, and many more.
In 2019, Tim was commissioned by Nightwish to create the photographs for the band's latest release 'Human Nature'. They were the first band ever to be allowed inside the Natural History Museum of London to do a photoshoot.
Tim's first book of photographs, PORTRAITS, was released in 2019 and showed the result of three years of secretly shooting images. In these images, Tim photographed his friends from the music industry as Old Masters.
The publication was internationally recognised as an unseen piece of art photography, leading to some major exhibitions. The first printing of the book was limited to 1,000 copies and sold out within two weeks after its release. Part of all benefits were transferred to PyschoseNet.be, a website that tries to help young people facing mental struggles.
Tim lives and works with his partner Simon in Ghent, Belgium.
